BARTLETT COMMUNICATIONS LAUNCHES E-COMMERCE RETAIL WEBSITES

Three consumer brands launched in niche retail markets using the latest in small business shopping cart software

CONCORD, MA February 15, 2008 – Bartlett Communications, a branding and interactive design studio, has launched online stores for Agatha & Louise (a dog lovers boutique), Katherine Houston Porcelain (handmade fine art porcelain), and Pockets Kids (a clothing store carrying brands such as Little Giraffe, Junk Food and Kissy Kissy).

"Establishing these brands as niche boutiques and utilizing advanced shopping cart features was key to the strategy for all three" said designer Liza Adams. The strategy has paid off quickly for Agatha & Louise who surpassed sales and traffic milestones not long after launching.

ProStores, owned by Ebay, was the e-commerce platform selected by Bartlett for all three sites. ProStores offers extensive features, including truly independent look and feel capabilities at a comparatively low price point. "As the online retail space becomes more competitive, utilizing the right technology and developing the right search engine optimization strategy is becoming more critical", said Fletcher B0land, user interface designer and Internet marketing consultant at Bartlett.
